Yesterday was International Nurses Day, celebrated annually on May 12 in honor of the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. This year’s theme from the International Council of Nurses is “Our Nurses. Our Future.” The slogan represents “a global campaign which sets out what we want for nursing in the future in order to address the global health challenges and improve global health for all” .. This morning our North Bay office invited caregivers to come by an have breakfast while they met our new coordinator, Angelica! It's always a good time seeing old and new friends. We really enjoy our monthly craft times with the Seniors in skilled nursing facilities. Every month we look forward to engaging with those in three different counties.  If you would like to volunteer with our Community Outreach Manager and have fun at the same time, let us know. No artistic ability necessary, just a smile.
